Pre-heresy Iron Hands: Plasma Gun Support Squad Update


Hello everyone,

Just a quick update, I have been slaving away at these guys all weekend whilst being busy with family, however, they are now almost complete! 




I have just noticed a few areas that I would like to improve on, so I will be correcting them and adding transfers before showing you the completed unit on my next post. I'm really loving how they are turning out though :).




After this I am planning on going on a transfer spree and getting more of my other units completed. This will include my tactical squads, predators and a land raider.

So I hope you all like my progress and I hope you have all had a good Easter!

      Thanks Drake! Its just a few layers of ceramite white and then two separate washes of Guilliman Blue Glaze :)

    Looking superb so far, are you keeping them at 5 or going to go for the full ten man unit?

      Thanks mate, I did think about having a ten man squad but I think I am going to do another five with volkite calivers for some diversity in the force. A ten man plasma squad would look awesome though, so I may do eventually :)

    Love them, clean and crisp and oh so many rivets... over a hundred on each trooper, I know... why I paint my rivets Leadbelcher I'll never know ha ha

      Thanks :). Yeah I do all of the rivets in Leadbelcher, wash it and then go over them with Runefang D: definitely a pain!

      Thanks! :). It's just a few coats of ceramite White and then two or more separate washes of guilliman blue glaze depending on how dark you want it to be.

      Thanks mate :). I've just listed them above, it's really easy to acheive. I'm not sure how it would look on bigger plasma coils though
