Weekly Progress Report

Hi all. It's time for us bunnies to share with you our progress for this week.

Drake Seta

Drake Seta has got rid of most of the purity seal frosting he encountered on his Triaros recently and is really grateful to all of our community for their messages of support and recommendations.

Frosted

Post gloss and light dulling.

It is finished now so expect to see it in a post this week.

Hopefully you enjoyed our Battle Report on Saturday featuring World Eaters and Orks, another battle will be coming this week.

Little Bunny has finished the first of the Ork buildings we require for our Ork campaign, all it requires now is painting.
We hope to get 3 Bastions, another generic building, a Mek shop and a fortress out of her before she loses grows tired of them.

Targel Vypus

I have had a break from doing my Word Bearers shoulder pads and I have moved onto my Contempter. I have completed all the armour and I just need to do the details and the weapons.

Darko Thane

Darko has been working.away as usual but has near enough finished his rampagers, just needs to be glued and have jump packs finished. Have a new project or 2 on cue so see what comes up soon!

That concludes this weeks progress report. Please comment below with your thoughts and don't forget to like our Facebook page and send in pics of your army and you may even get to see it on our armies on parade post every Wednesday. Also please make sure you cast a vote on our current poll.

Take care

  1. Nice progress shots! I wish the normal dreads were more contempor like. The contempors make standard dreads look all weedy :).

What did drake go with as his final solution?

    1. Hi Greg. I ended up using a gloss varnish, which I then went over with Purity Seal (in a warm room with a well shaken bottle, with little squirts and a heat gun from a distance). Would have liked to have tried the Olive oil solution some one mentioned as I think that would have done great too.

    2. Great to know! Thanks for replying. Always a good idea to know what solutions people fine and utilize. I know we will all encounter similar situations someday!

  2. I agree with you Greg, the contemptors are built like brick kazi's while normal dreads are not so much, but there is probably a reason for normal dreads to look like they do in the fluff somewhere.

    1. Hmmm an interesting theory Garrett, I will ask the people in the know at Warhammer Fest.

    2. There are many many different Variants of Dreadnoughts, and when FW get bored I hope we see some more. Personally I'd like a Juggernaut Space Marine, large stocky Knight like model as a deepest darkest parts of the Reliquary type mega Dreadnought, where each Legion may have had only 1-3 of them in total. But Contemptors are the most Technologically advanced ones, but the means to construct them (such as with Jetbikes etc) are lost to the mists of time in 40k. Other Dreadought variants are more common place and are simpler to maintain.
