So the once small exhibition room with many models and one battle board has now been replaced with a whole tours worth and my God it looks so epic. Words are not needed so here are some pics, there is so much more to see:
Truly a sight to behold. I implore you guys to visit this part, it's truly astonishing up close.
Darko Thane
Holy crap, that is IMMENSE. No wonder it's £7.50 to get in...that's easily several grand's worth of models there...and all the cityscaping...

ReplyDeleteWow.... Just wow
ReplyDeletesome epic sh*t
ReplyDeleteWhat model is it that's duelling the Bloodthirster?
ReplyDeleteLooks like Calgar
DeleteConfirmed. It is Calgar.
DeleteAt this point too I'd like to point out we never have mentioned this Board as being a Calth board. We do all know the difference :)
DeleteLost for words
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity- is there Any fantasy on display? Or is it all under wraps?
ReplyDeleteyes, there have a three beautiful of warhammer fantasy.
DeleteI....excuse me. I need to find a poet.
ReplyDeleteI was blown away by these exhibitions. Definitely worth a visit!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the beautiful pics! As someone stuck here in North America, I had no chance of attending this event. I must find a way to visit Warhammer World before I die. These dioramas both excite me and depress me. I get so excited to collect and paint models and terrain when I see these, but I get depressed because I know I am not this talented and I don't get to play/build terrain that is this EPIC looking... that Elder vs. Tyrannies terrain is unreal!!! And Calth... no words can describe
ReplyDeleteI was the same. I purchased the Forge World Masterclass books and they help tremendously. Thoroughly recommend them, including their weathering, airbrush and scenery techniques.
DeleteI have only one disappointing comment to make about the MOST amazing diorama GW and FW has done.
DeleteThe continually changing 'mood' lighting was a pain in the back side to take decent photos with spending half a day in there waiting for the white light to cycle round again ..... :(
Other than than amazing displays.
Although I'd personally only visit it again when the cost was included in an event.
Brilliant as it was. :)
OMG! I'm lost for words.

Did you guys get any pictures of the tunnel on the Necron diorama? ;P
ReplyDeleteThere was a not quite secret tunnel in the bottom left of the case and it had terminators fighting scarabs and all kinds in side and was led back kit with green tomb lighting.
If not let me know as I have a few pics and I'll pop them across to Drake :D
