Forge World European Open day 2015 - the stands.

Ordinatus Engine has been painted. It looks incredible. Ordinatus-minoris Macro Engine.

The new Tau engine on display and painted. Awesome looking suit.

New Solar Auxilia incoming. Veletaris with Power Axes.

Mor Deythan are nearing completion. Also they are sporting the new sized bases as standard.

Hoping Tosney transfers for the Solar Auxilia command squad soon.

Alpha Legion

No new previewed characters so far.

The Limited edition mini in all its painted schemes so far. Love Rudgies' Death Guard one.

Thanks to Jens for the pics and Coverage. In your debt.

    1. When there is lots to display we break them up and do multiple posts. No new Battle table. No real Work in progress displays. Sounds a bit smaller than the last one.

  3. I find it strange that FW only show that with the things they have to take, Thunderhawk Landing Pad, Stormbird, Legion Masterdon, Transfer Sheet, BA SW and TS upgrades, Iron Warriors and Alpha Legion units, primarchs and Warlord's head and weapon : /

    1. European open days don't have seminars and that's the only time you actually see a Primarch previewed anywhere. I have never once seen a work in progress Primarch in a cabinet. I never expected to see Thousand Sons or the Vlka Fenryka at this point. It is too soon. We will see them in February possibly for book 7 which I think will be released / previewed at the Horus Heresy weekender 2016. We may see some iron Warrior and Alpha Legion units at 40k Openday

It is quite a small event sadly. It may be because the 40k Openday is in October. Also I personally reckon due to delays possibly by GW that FW can't show a lot of what they are working on (with the imminent release of the plastic range).
I still am expecting a Plastic Thunderhawk soon (Sokar will be the replacement for the resin one as they are similar size), and I think FW will be selling the Landing pad when it pops up. The 40k Openday in UK will be huge for the future of the hobby.

    2. i'm with Drake on that^^ GW has 0 excuses for the Thunderhawk anymore ^^ and it would be usable for both 30k and 40k after all ;) (and hey, they sell a 1000 euro fortress ... and smaug ... so yeah ...)

  5. Personally I think they already have finished at least two of the three primarchs missing, so I thought that at least one of them would be presented today at the event. I will be awaiting you bunnies;) on 17 and 18 October at the Open Day to see the new models.

You have been able to get some information to members of FW on GW plastic armor or what they will do in the Warhammer 40K Open Day?
