Weekly Progress Report 27/9

So, another week has passed and its a sunday so here we are with another installment of our weekly report :) a decent week in the camp, with progress of titan-ic proportions to small victories from some of us. But enough with the talking, lets show off what we have:

Slow and steady this week, Kaelo has made a small amount of progress on his Invictarii Suzerains. Though not quite finished yet they are looking pretty sweet. I know Kaelo is glad he chose to go for more white than red or black. He has been working long hours the last few months and every week he gives us the same excuse. It's unfortunate the real life exists!!

Drake Seta has been plowing on with Bone Garland. He has magnetised the head successfully but has coined the phrase "Rage Glued" for the shoulder plates as he has come very close on several occasions to saying sod it and sticking them down. He is getting closer to the endgame now.

I (Darko) have been making good stead on my assualt squad. The trim is complete and the jump packs have been fitted to the squad. I have also transferred them to the new 32mm bases. Very happy to report that this unit is near enough complete, barring some weathering and basing.

I have now started moving on to the Palatine Blades, re-base-coating the armour pieces and weapons. These are my next set of models to complete.

I have also had a peek of my Eidolon that I recently bought. Looks lovely I must admit, probably my favourite looking character model, in my opinion he looks better than a couple of the Primarch models! He is a little while away on my project list but I just couldn't help myself!!

Tylar is currently away with work so he has been unable to make any progress this week but should be able to work on his hobby projects in the near future :)

So another week down and a varied amount done this week from us all. All looking forward to the next week, and for you all there is something special to look forward to:

A new bunny approaches! I mentioned a short while ago we had recruited a couple of bunnies, Tylar being one of them. Our next member will be introducing themselves this week and I hope you will give them a very warm welcome when they appear :)

Stay tuned for more from us over the next week!!

    1. Lol. Hi Taron. We are in conversation with 3 other gamers after this one. This one doesn't have the Iron Fetish lol. . . . At least hobby related. . .

    2. Fetish for iron? That could be anyone! Not to generalize but don't we all love the smell of heated iron? ;)

  6. For some reason the I feel the Emperors Children need a little something else to make them pop, like the while on Kaeleos ultras. Thats just my opinion, they still look good. Also wish I could make progress every week!

    1. I do believe there will be some silvers, whites and golds here and there. The EC Transfers are pretty bright too. Sure we will nail'em!

  8. @Kaelo: Next time you choose to do something like this, please warn us in advance. My mind has a strict blown-quota, and I think this put it in negative. But seriously, those shields looks amazing!
@Drake: Your machine of mass destruction looks more and more terrifying with each post. Great job as always.
@Darko: I hate that I love your Emperor's Children. My mortal enemy! Don't mind what people are saying. They look great. Quick question though; was your assault squad supplied with that size base?

    1. I brought 5 assault squads and 2 tactical squads the other week and none of them had the bigger base. But maybe they'll be phased in as the old batches are sold?

    2. Personally i hope that they'll keep the old bases for goons and the bigger bases for the special guys on the field.

    3. Hi. I believe the community can ask FW to supply the bigger bases instead. I seem to remember one of the Bunnies actually got some this way.

    4. Lol Zyntax! Thank you for the kind words. I am liking how they are turning out :)

    5. Hi Zyntax,

Thank you for your kind words :D

And when i bought these (only about a month or two ago) they were sent with 25mm bases. I have bought some 32mm ones and replaced the original ones shown in previous posts.

Thanks for your wonderful comment for us all!!
