Hi all
An absolutely great day today and here is my final post of the day. The newest addition to the exhibition centre. Tau vs Adeptus Mechanicus and Titan Legio Firebrands.
Great board! Very impressive details and mini narratives happening all over.
There is even a Lancer spearing a Devilfish.
Also that is a Tau Manta. The 99th one sold.
Well, they don't tend to screw up things like this, so that's a pretty good confirmation that the Ordinatus is getting the 40k stamp at some point.
ReplyDeleteApparently it is in the next Imperial Armour which is being written. Not had that to me though.
DeleteYeah, next new IA should still be Ad Mec vs Tau^^
DeleteBut first ... Mymeara *_*
who in their right mind thought it wouldn't possibly ever get it's appearance in 40k's current timeline, let alone it having rules for normal games
ReplyDeleteJust your standard Apocalypse battle at GW's house.
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show even Forgeworld can screw up putting their own models together, the Reavers shoulders pads are on backwards
ReplyDeleteFW didn't put this together, Warhammer World has its own studio which paints all of the display boards for the exhibition hall.
DeleteHi Andrew! Such a great display must have taken you months! Anything you can tell us about it? Any hidden Easter eggs? What's your favourite bit?
DeleteI love the Kastelans going up the center, I think I see one punching a Crisis suit in the face.
ReplyDeleteI painted that guy! Glad you like him.
DeleteDoes this diorama have a novel/novella for it??
ReplyDeleteIt was a great display, so easy to miss things with so much going on. I'd have missed the lancer if you guys hadn't pointed it out to me!
ReplyDeleteI was there yesterday- the display is amazing- and needs to be seen to be believed,
ReplyDelete** and the Reaver shoulder pads have been changed so that they are correct! **
