  2. now, i might be totally wrong, is an Imperial fist going to gift the "i forgot the name of calgars gun fists" to an ultramarine for some kind of gift/token.
hows the old "chaos champion" fluff going to tie in?

back to my night lords i go!

    laters!

  3. Wow. 33. That's impressive. Another Novel can't come round soon enough. Intrigued to find out who the story is based round, but I'm betting Polux, also betting the fist sporting chap is Polux too. Goes with the whole Unremembered Empire story too.
Now as there are some flying Ultramarines? Shooting down, could it be the Imperial fists have decided not to put their faith in the Empire and make a dash for Terra with some Ultramarines who feel the same? Hence the Ultramarines in the sky in another pic shooting down (possibly at them)? Just pulling things out of my Arse as usual!

    1. It does look like Polux's power fist.. Not exactly like the one on the FW model (and also on the opposite arm) but close enough! I hope it is. :)

    2. It's funny how the BL succeeded in making the Ultramarines more borderline than the DA in term of loyalty...^^ Why so much suspicion Drake? :^P

I'm can't wait for that. I really hope the UM will seriously kick some renegade power butts.
They mostly have been some kinds of "heroic losers" until now. Know no Fear and Betrayer were awesome, but it always ends with slaughtered blue guys. :'^<

    3. My two favourite Legions in one book? Oooooh Emprah...

And that could explain how Sevatar & friends escaped from the DA and reached Terra...

Now I'm definitely hyped up about this, thanks dear Lady ! 8^}_

    4. With a name like Dying of the Night, yeah I can believe it. They do look really really really XIII Legion like though! Going to stop jumping to as many speculations. Was under the belief that Polux would want to get to Terra. Another thing I ponder: he becomes known as the Crimson fist, and eventually they are painted in a very midnight blue with a red gauntlet, very akin to the VIII Legion and their marked Legionnaires. . .
Not sure who wrote the book yet though.

    5. Writer should be Guy Haley afaik^^

also, if you look close, you can see NL wings on the helmet^^

  4. I'll out my money on Pollux too. Can't remember these two legions fighting together late in the HH tho but then if the BA can make it back to Terra from Ultramar I'm time there's no reason a bunch of IFs can't do the same.

  5. Fists, with Pollux, on the world with the beacon. Can't remember is name. The future home world of the Scythes. There was a short story with a fleet of iron warriors watching and waiting to attack.
As for the repercussions..... maybe there is truth to the beacon alerting the hive mind?!

    1. The planet, I believe, is called Sotha.

    2. Yep^^ the book should be about the invasion of Sotha - Polux and Dantioch action :P

    3. It was an iron warrior working the controls in that thing wasn't it?
Explains why the tyranids hit the 500 worlds first then!!

  6. This was a pleasant surprise when the email from BL dropped in last night. Look forward to it.

  7. Isn't the enemy fleet that of a stray element of the Night Lords, not Iron Warriors, as seen in the short story "A safe and shadowed place"? I expect Conrad Kurze to abscond from Ultramar and rejoin the main body of his legion in this new iteration of the Heresy.
