Forgeworld Bulletin: A new robot and a Red Book!

Howdy Guys and Girls!

Forgeworld's newest Bulletin shows of a new Automata and the new Legiones Astartes - Age of Darkness Legions Red Book:

Really hyped for this guy - you can't have enough robots!

Rules update for all the Legions so far, including the Ultramarines. Afaik they are also going to release a FAQ for this, or atleast that's what we heard.

Are you excited for this weekend? What stuff do you want to see there? Tell us in the comments below!

regards,
Lady Atia

  1. More illegal AI's? My World Eaters are going to have to pull the plug on it!

    1. I don't think they are illegal but too wild and animalistic for (sane) use in 40k :P

    2. Nothing in 40k should be sane. It's the end times. Shit should be going down.
Also when do we get picks of the SoS

  2. looking at that Automata, i'm going to guess that it's the domitar pattern due to the missile launcher behind its head.

    2. And the gravhands, I would say no doubt really. This pleases me. He reminds me of The Iron Giant, that is what I shall name mine.

  4. Looking forward to seeing the updated Emperor's Children rules, recently got into 30K with Betrayal at Calth and went for them primarily because I love the concept and their upgrade parts, but their rules are a bit... dull compared to the other legions :P

    1. Phoenix Terminators got a big buff with the recent FAQ for tartarus armour :)

Kakaphony should get their own RoW for a noisy army too =)

    2. Funky.

Mainly hoping for their basic legion astartes rules to be made slightly more interesting, crusader is fine and all, but that alongside having to challenge and being debuffed when you (seemingly inevitably:P) lose is a bit meh when you compare it to basically every other legion.

  5. I know they could be converted from Thallax, but I'm also hoping for some Ursurax models... Want to see the mechanicum version of powerfists and claws! By the way, I see the legion book is being updated, the crusade army list book was out of stock for a while and now is back up. Does anyone know if it got updated too? Or is it just back in stock with no changes?

    1. I kind of don't want there to be Ursarax available on the day... but purely for budgetary reasons! There are many great conversions out there for sure but I can't wait to see what the studio come up with :D

    2. The blurb at the top of the red book's Legion lists says that the Age of Darkness Legions book needs the 40,000 rule book and the Crusade Army list found in the Horus Heresy Book 1 or the Revised and updated Legiones Astartes: Crusade Army List Book
