Daemon prince Magnus sprues

Hi all

Here are the Sprues for the new Daemon Magnus kit. They were finished January this year I think it was said.

Currently the designer can't divulge what he is working on next sadly.

Once again it is sculpted so it slots together perfectly, like all of their pure 3D renders do at the moment.

Was great to see Citadel staff having the opportunity to show off their work ahead of release like Forge World do (all because it was leaked).

  1. Mangus looks colossal in size. GW/FW are really just doing amazing work and sculpts at the moment.

    1. Yeah he was only allowed to show it because it was leaked a short time ago sadly.

    2. Gw leaked it themselves...

  4. How big is magnus as a model, is he closer to a imperial knight in size or a dreadnaught

    1. Look at the dreadnought arm he's standing on, he's enormous!

    2. He's around the height of a knight. The wings make him taller.

  5. I can't really tell... but does it look like it also makes a Fateweaver?

    1. Not that I can see. I'm pretty sure it's pure Magnus.

    2. It's definitely pure Magnus. However there's three different heads representing him at different points and this ability to change. There's also 2 weapon options, staff or sword. One of the most interesting thing Matt Holland said about this was that he appreciated how people may not like how Magnus looks (in terms of his actual design, not the model), so all armour plates are options and anything hidden by an armour plate is fully sculpted underneath. Had a long chat with Matt and from it its clear how much effort he put into this model, and how much he enjoyed doing it. Quality bloke, and seeing the model in person is the only way of doing it justice.

  6. Where are you seeing the head options and weapon options?

  7. ^Sword is in the last pic, look close there is a hand attached.

    Beautiful figure!
Enough to make me start a force led by the Crimson King, seriously. Love Egyptian themes (been there few times, was stationed nearby). The option to have armour or not is sweet too.

Couple of questions if they are known please:
To help me gauge the size a bit better, what is the size of the base on the big version of Magnus?
Does anyone know what the cost in pounds or dollars will be?
