Forgeworld New Models!

Howdy Guys and Girls :)

ALPHARIUS! (?!?)

Scoria!

Alpha Legion Terminators:

Finally a Land Speeder for 30k - may be an event/WW exclusive model:

No comment on re doing Assault Marines (improving their scale to fit with Plastics).

Regarding unbalanced forces (Thousand Sons) they may get addressed by an FAQ / Errata soonish.

Titan Weapons: Titan Weapons will be created in 40k Scale then Down scaled to Adeptus Titanicus.

Some of the new Custodes models may not get rules in 30k, but that might change or some might get ported to 30k.

New Dreadnought Drop Pod! Might see it tomorrow!

Emperor’s Children Transfers should be coming out again soon

    1. It’s ongoing. It had lots of issues with the 8th ed transition. It’s coming but they can’t say when.

    2. i'd imagine that they are waiting to add some final bits and pieces once the tau codex is released. So 3 months after that seems like a good bet. I'd say summer wouldn't be far off as a guess.

  6. Any notice on redoing the Varagyr fur?

    1. They're up on the coming soon section search of the FW site as they are now so looks like not unfortunately. Their "Great beast pelts" seem to just be those small scraps of fur.
Honestly my biggest disappoint of all the Heresy stuff so far.

    2. Just think of it as wet fur, I guess =/. They're quite different from the way SW units are portrayed in the color plates.

  7. Very very happy to see Alpharius and lernaean terminators finally for AL collectors! Long overdue. I really hope they stop the warhammer world/event exclusive models... most people will never get the chance to purchase these models... unless they go the route of recasters and ebay. Hope the BA and WS can get some units this year, customers of these legions have waited long enough

  10. Omegon looks awesome and this is coming from a massive Dorn fan. May turn out to be one of the best yet.

  11. What would be especially choice is if the Alpharius kit included Omegon, or gave you options to build Omegon instead.

They could get a lot of Alpha Legion players to buy the kit twice.

  12. Wow these models looks amazing! Cannot wait for the VIth to be released!!! What happened to the Space Wolves Praetor in Terminator armour? I wish Dorn’s Chainsword was larger but that could be just from the pick. Fantastic miniatures INBOUND! Thank you for the coverage! Loving Valdor!

  13. Did they describe how that ordinatus functions? Mole part of the name suggests that it can burrow, so like a giant undergroud transport? or instead a huge burrowing launcher, like the krieg special weapons?

  14. Scoria is the big winner so far. The model is just amazingly good. Though the Lernean and Alpharius are also putting on a lot of style.
I also was honestly surprised to see a new Solar Auxilia model; I had assumed what we got was it forever, what with the designer leaving and all.
On the other hand, the more I see of Valdor, the less I like the model. It seems like I discover something new that bothers me each time I see it in higher ress or from another angle.

  15. Absolutely amazing work there, love the lot and can't wait to get my hands on them :)

  16. Oh and the moles and termites take me right back, never thought I'd see those realised in full scale, brilliant stuff.

  17. A primarch with a helmet! Wonder if we will get helmets for the rest :D
