We have been sent the Parasite of Mortrex for review! He’s a plucky little fella.
So firstly, the kit was brilliant to assemble, one of those 10 minute fully satisfying jobs. The detail on him is great, but his design makes him look a bit more Xenomorph from Aliens then Tyranid (not necessarily a bad thing). The head itself really makes you think he is bigger than he actually is in real life.
Here he is against a Custodes for scale.
Was great finally and an easy win to paint too (especially if you follow Warhammer Community’s Hive Fleet Leviathan painting video). From start to finish it took Honey the Destroyer around 1.5 hours.
So this has now joined Arlo’s swarm and we will be using it to battle soon :)
We will be looking at the Tyranid Codex tomorrow :)
