Horus Heresy: Ironfire - eBook

Yay! Another Iron Warrior story!

THE STORY

His body broken by the fall of the Schadenhold, the Iron Warriors warsmith Idriss Krendl is nonetheless far from defeated. Now commanding two of the mighty siege guns stolen from the forge world of Diamat, he seeks to redeem himself in the eyes of his primarch by bringing down the Great Selenic palace on Euphorus, and gather invaluable tactical data for the eventual assault on Terra. His plan? To utilise a strategy of his own devising – the glorious Ironfire protocol.

READ IT BECAUSE

Follow the continuing adventures of Iron Warriors Warsmith Idriss Krendl as he attempts to take down a giant palace with a pair of the enormous siege guns. We last met Krendl in the story Savage Weapons, where he went head to head with the loyalist Dantioch. After that humiliation, he's trying to recover his reputation with an audacious plan.

Currently I am waiting for Tallarn Ironclad as I have refused to purchase a Special edition Hardback Novel at any GW specialist event (pre-releases or early releases I love), so a story like this will tide me over until a standard version is released.

    1. Me too. But after being stung multiple times with Blades of the Traitor I am waiting until Grand opening and hoping for a new Omnibus which contains it.

    2. Purchased I think 3 of the 5 stories on ebook before the book Blades of the Traitor was released. The book gave no reference to what it's content was in the run up to the HH weekender (apart from brand new stories). At the event I found out I had 3 of the Stories within and lacked 2. I was told that they had no idea if the other stories would be released independently, so I had to go for the book. A week later the other 2 Stories were released for £1.99 each.
Sick of BL doing stuff like this. I have every Story of 30k apart from Tallarn Ironclad because I can't respect a Special edition Novel (which would not fit in with the standard Hard back spines) being sold at an exclusive event. People go to these events to get access to pre-releases, not to be beaten for more money.

    3. And as the last HH Novel was Damnation of Pythos (July 2014 I think) they really need to start releasing more actual novels.

    4. I fully agree. That and i found Damnation to be a total let down. I feel it was only written to kill off characters and give a starting point to a 40k campaign book.

    5. I guess it's a good thing that I am not up to date with the HH stories and I don't really get stung like that. For the time being that is lol
