Forge World release 9/10

Another week passes and its Friday so this means we get some new goodies for our armies. This week is a new set of Tau releases. They look really good. Now I myself am not a 40k player, I entered this hobby straight into the Horus Heresy but these look really good for a project for me in the future....

But for today at least we have been treated to a new battlesuit arrangement. Here are some pictures to treat you all with:


So here we have a new KX139 Supremacy battlesuit with Fusion Eridactors. This looks like a lot of win here!!

The Fusion Eradicator is also for sale seperately.


Above is the Supremacy armour with a Fusion Eradicator and a Tri-Axis ion cannon. Because why keep it just a one flavour experience!!!


Also available is a Tau Cadre bundle so you can get all of your favourite suits in one purchase:

This bundles includes one XV107 R'Varna Battlesuit, one XV109 Y'Vahra Battlesuit, one XV9 Battlesuit with twin linked burst cannon, one XV9 Battlesuit with phased ion guns, one XV9 Battlesuit with fusion cascades and a pair of Tau Remora Drone Stealth Fighters.

    Strange, as they teasered the Solar Auxilia Medicae Detachment via WD :p

      Oh, you can do 30k Tau!

      Just use a Feral Orks list, but model them as Tau :P

      Or you could use the Tau rules, call them, Vau, a species wiped out (as many were) during the great crusade.

      We just don't know who the humanity encountered, but we do know some were very advanced indeed.

    Still looking forward to the Alpha Legion transfers. They were previewed alongside other stuff that has already been released, so I'm not sure what's taking so long!

    I know that it I'm on the middle of a 30k Mechanicum army, so I have not excess funds... But I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish both Forgeworld and GW would expand on Dark Eldar... I remember reading somewhere that there wouldn't be any new DE models until there was a dedicated DE book, but I wish FW would show some love to the Dark Kin. Such a nice looking army, and becoming such a waste of potential.

      Some sort of massive Lord of War pain engine would be fantastic! Imagine if it operated like the machines from War of the Worlds where they absorb bodies to fuel it! Awesome!

      I really think that the community creating there own stuff for army lists is perfectly acceptable as long as you aren't fighting tournaments etc (which the Bunnies generally avoid). There are certain things which need to be changed in the rules or house ruled too.

      Make your own Lord of War for Dark Eldar, make your own enslaved races to fight with DE - it would be easy to cast up the body of the Sslyth and repose an entire squad.

      What I am saying is, we don't have to wait for GW to make the armies we want :)

    I'd actually like to see more Icubi variants, more Reaper like skimmer weapons, more various species (expanded Sslyth variants, new beasts, and more slave species to use in battle), as well as more characters and units. Possible new wyches with wrist mounted weapons, close combat kabalites. I'm more of a fan of the Wyches and Kabalites than the Wrecks, Grotesques, and Haemonculus. Also... make new more poseable and varied Mandrake.
