A bit of a slow week in terms of progress due to work commitments for most of us. But we still have some things for you guys to feast your eyes on, so here goes:
Kaelo, Tylar and I (Darko) have little or no progress this week, apart from me blacking up a few more palatine blades, but not enough for a proper addition.
Castiel has been busy trimming all of his new fancies from Forge World ready to crack on for his Dark Angel force.
Aveinus has his first week contributing to the blog so progress has been slow with working on the introduction but does have work in progress. Meduson Immortals to share with you, even if they have no arms! He has however finished the sergeant for the squad in the second picture below. He also has acquired some Volkite Chargers to arm the squad with, so they will hopefully act as more of a tactical support squad or an effective boarding unit.
Drake has been continuing on his Warlord Titan; Bone Garland. He has spent 3 hours painting hydraulic housing and washing the main skeleton again. He is now getting to the detail parts of the main skeleton, where shortly after the armour plates will be finished and glued on.
He has received the transfers now and so has had to start planning where he will be sticking them.
Apologies for the lack of content this week but we are already on our way for projects this week so you shall be repaid handsomely on next weeks report....
Darko Thane
Great work on the Immortals so far :) Volkites are always good!
ReplyDeleteAnd Drake it's funny, your black plates look exactly like mine xD (Legio Fureans :p)
Legio Fureans with Black plates. . .? Lol.
Deletehaha not all xD
Deletethe faceplate and the toes are black f.e. ^^
speaking about it, i still need a better way to mask the flames :/
DeleteHow are you currently trying the? Masking tape?
DeleteThanks Atia :)
Deletei tried a masking foil, but it didn't worked out that well as some colour got under the foil so i stripped the carapax (which destroyed the paint on my gun servitor too :<) - next time i try to use masking tape on top of the foil - that *should* help^^
Delete@Kaane: also, i love his head! and the armour looks ace too, you need to share your recipe :)
Volkites and Immortals? Aveinus, I already like your style! Power Fist Immortal was also my first Immortal model (okay, it's actually my Centurion, but it's a long story)... You know what they say; iron minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work! You too Drake. ;)
Haha thanks Zyntax! I figured it would be better to give them some nice toys rather than just bolters :). Yeah I couldn't resist finishing him first, had to alter the position of the power fist arm so it would sit closer to him but happy with the result!
DeleteYou should be happy! He looks great. I know exactly what you mean. I used the power fist from that 'old' FW SM upgrade kit, and it really needed some bending, but in the end it was all good.
DeleteAvenius. They look awesome. Can't wait to see more of your stuff and learn your clan's back story.
ReplyDeleteThanks Drake, I'm currently pooling my ideas :).
DeleteGreat work on the imortals. Loving the power fist guy!
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave, I've been making more progress with them so I should hopefully have the first five done this week :)
DeleteGreat job on the immortals.
ReplyDeleteThanks Colonel :)
