Today we have a range of new bundles offered to us, first of which is named the Rapid Onslaught Force. This is a bundle that contains a Thunderhawk gunship (not plastic.....), 20 mk3 marines with bolters and a relic Contemptor.
This is a nice fast bundle that will cost £550. This will be ready to start shipping from the 18th of December for those who purchase this.
Next up we have a Boarding Assault Force. This bundle contains a Caestus Assault ram with 10 mk3 breacher marines.
This bundle will cost you £165, with shipping also starting from 18th December.
Finally we have another bundle called the Armoured Incursion Force. This bundle contains a Spartan Assault tank with 10 terminators in Tartaros armour.
This bundle costs £170 and, yes you guessed it, ready to ship from the 18th of December too.
Also shown to us is a handy new addition to marines. Forge World have now presented to us a new range of arms which are designed for all marines. This would look to go hand in hand (literally) with the Betrayal at Calth set for easier posing and cross equipment.
What do you guys think of this weeks releases? What would you like to see cone out next? Let us know in the comments below :)
Darko Thane
what a let down :c ... well another month without mastodon I guess
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Christmas jigsaw this year will be the Mastodon? :P
DeletePossibly next week or it could be a big present on Xmas day?!
DeleteI was really hoping for book 6 this week. Would have been nice to be able to read it through while enjoying the holidays. Guess I'm forced to spend more time with the family. Thanks FW!
ReplyDeleteI reckon we will see the next book at the Weekender. Possibly a few copies to be available on the GW birthday event?
DeleteYou're probably right. It's a bit too late for them to release it as a christmas gift must-buy, I guess.
DeleteI think book 6 will be at the birthday party
DeleteThere are other new releases, the updated weapons sets for the plastic kits, i.e. with the hands on the weapons. This obviously was coming, but I find it very useful as now I can seriously get on with equipping my troops.
ReplyDeleteOne detail is that the tartaros terminators + spartan bundle includes the "non-legion" tartaros set. This is the one that has an imperial aquila in the torso of every terminator, so maybe it's not absolutely fluff-adherent, or esthetically fitting if one wants to go with a traitor legion. Anyways it shouldn't be too difficult to file them away, but I felt a warning is always welcome
ReplyDeleteOr just do them up as Emperor's Children...
