Forge World release 29/1

Hey guys, here we are with the latest release posting from the Forge World studios. With only a week to go until the Weekender anticipation is building with the possibilities of what to see coming soon. We will be there and we all cannot wait!! But for now lets get on with today's releases:




So first off we have been given the new Alpha Legion Headhunter squad. This is available as an upgrade pack rather than 
a unique unit as expected. I have been waiting for these since I can remember as I am a massive Alpha fan. I imagine they will be available at the Weekender, and they are available to pre-order now






Next we have a couple of upgrade sets for the Cataphractii terminators. Two new weapon sets have been released. One being a special weapons general pack which includes a reaper autocannon and many combi-weapon sets. These are also compatible with the plastic Cataphractii range from the Betrayal at Calth kits. 

Secondly we have a Power Axe upgrade pack, these are a new kit which, again, are also fitting for the BaC terminators.

    The headhunters look fab imo. Gonna get some for sure.

    As for the weekender... been thinking for a while that some of the missing iron warriors and alpha legion units would be there, but maybe there'll be some space wolves to coincide with the 40k Space wolf release. Maybe another knight errant too.

    What are the bunnies best guesses?

      I have to confess, I was wondering whether it was a coincidence that the HH weekender is the same weekend as the Wulfen make a return to 40k ...

    Saved 10 Calth Marines for this set. Already preordered them :) like the orccy look of a couple of the helmets with the tusks

    Not sure about the axes (as I prefer swords) but the special weapons are cool. So, Do I pre-order or pick them up at the weekender?

    Guys, the Mastodon has been shown in the WD, maybe it means it'll be available at the weekender? The pics can be seen at Natfka's.

      Do you have a link to that? I remember Natfka referring to the Mastadon in the list of things that will be in HH6:Retribution, but I've not seen any pictures of the Mastadon in WD ....

    Oh, finally. I so didn't want to have to buy resin cataphractii just to get power weapons on my squad.

    I've been obsessing over parts on a Word Bearers cataphractii squad, full ten strong. Now this is gonna work out just fine.

    What's a novelette you ask? Well, some say it's a short story with delusions of grandeur, others that it's a novella that gets to the point quicker. The smart ones all know however it is simply another means with which to milk the shit out of our loyal fan base who we know will buy whatever HH stories we put out, no matter how ludicrous or expensive.
