Hi all.
With the Vorax down, and another FW baggy in the bin, I have turned my attention to the Ursurax.
I have decided to equip them all with Lightning Claws for extra Legionnaire maiming potential.
They were very fun to assemble and hopefully I find one evening soon to get them painted in our group's bronze scheme.

They are one of the fw i find very confusing. I can't decide if I like them as aggressive thallax models or would've preferred thallax with lightning claws. There is something slightly goofy about them and their 2 fingered lightning claws and little thumb.
ReplyDeleteI might have to give them cataphracti or chaos warp blade claws if I got some for my mechanicum.
Hi Mellr0. Only thing I am not 100% sure of is the head unit. But apart from that I do love the models. They have 3 fingers like the Thallax too. I think the 2 claws helps to differentiate them from regular humanity whilst still being really effective too.
DeleteWould like to see your adaption too though!
I think that they look like sloths with jet packs. And power claws.
ReplyDeleteI love these models, they are screaming out to be draped in the skins of thier enemies. They are like flayed ones 2.0! Look forward to seeing what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteI love these models. They make me want to build a Mechanicum Detachment for my Sons of Horus so bad. It's bad enough that the Iron Circle Domitar is out, I can't afford to start another Legion. But God dammit, robots. It's always the robots.
ReplyDeleteHi Josha. Yeah I know. These Battle Automata are so addictive! So many different sizes / types and configurations!
DeleteI love you the look of these and bought a set at Warhammerfest too.
ReplyDeleteI have planned: 6 of them, 2 with fists.
ReplyDeleteGreat. Was thinking of another set with Fists. They are cheap compared to some of the other ones!
DeleteI think I'll be doing 6 (2 with fists) also, I think having that anti tarpit capacity would be useful in games
DeleteNice posing! Looking forward too paint!
