The day before Warhammer Fest 2016

Hi all

Just another little reminder to you all about the great event that we will be reporting from tomorrow.

We have been shown some fantastic models which are coming out this weekend including this beautiful even exclusive Cataphractii Terminator Praetor.

We have lots of other other awesome items in store for us too.

The big character of the event is Tylos Rubio.

So here is what the I am expecting to catch glimpses of at this event (Horus Heresy related):

I am expecting to see an almost finished Leman Russ with his wolf brother and sister Freki and Geri, at a new model or Inferno Seminar.
I think we will see a painted Knight Acastus Porphyrion, as well as another Acastus model with different weapon loadouts.
I think we will see a specialist squad or two previewed for the Vlka Fenryka and the Thousand Sons previewed in the Seminars.
I also think we might see some Work in Progress Vlka Fenryka heads.
We should see some Thousand Sons and Vlka Fenryka transfers as well as updated World Eaters and Sons of Horus ones.
I am hoping to hear about Knight house Morbidia (works with Mortis, and will hopefully feature in Inferno on the side of the Wolves).
We will see some Secutarii in the cabinets, as well as the Explorator.
I am thinking a generic pair of Knight Errants will be seen, as well as hopefully our first sight of the Custodes and Sisters of Silence.

Now if none of that interests you / makes you want to come back tomorrow, you are either there or following the wrong blog. . .

  1. If we do get all that it would be awesome but I think WHF 16 might be more about the newly set up specialist games division and the digital offerings on consoles/PCs and mobile devices. I think Inferno is such a massive undertaking that is expect the contents of that one book may take the same number of years to release as the stuff from the Istvaan trilogy. I think FW will be keeping (or trying to) some HH stuff back for the weekender but I guess anything that works with the GW plastics would probably be there. Looking forward to seeing what we get at the event.

  2. Looks like it's going to be a really good weekend! I would really like to see Custodes and sisters of silence!! But like King Fluff said I think they may hold stuff back for the weekender! Would be great to see another preview of Russ!

    1. With talk of another HH Weekender later this year (please!!!), I can imagine that being the date that they release either a squad of Sisters of Silence and/or Custodes.
Book 7 would also be released at this event (if finished). This would be the last event before hand where we would get a new model seminar.
Israel has worked on the Solar Auxilia digital range after Edgar left. He worked on Tylos Rubio in his spare time (yet could not comment on what he was working on in his regular time), to me this means he is either working on Dorn (as he did such a great job of Polux and Sigismund) or he has been working on digital sculpts of SoS or Custodes. Given the fact that as soon as the core 3D model is complete, minor re posing and carrying out subtle differences on armour plate, should mean it would be relatively easy to create them. He has / is busy. Can't wait to see what on!
Pretty sure Mark Bedford has been working with the Vlka Fenryka range (he did the sketches for them).

  3. Could you guys ask if there is going to be transfers for knight houses anytime soon?
    (Orhlacc, Vornherr, Vyronii)
Also, any news of Blood Bowl would be very welcome. 😉
    Cheers

    1. Hi Arto, you are in luck. Most of the Battle Bunnies are also avid Blood Bowl fans. We have chosen to create a parallel blog which we will reporting all Blood Bowl and specialist game related items from tomorrow (Warhammer Quest, Blood Bowl, Necromunda etc). We will link a thorough report tomorrow for you :)

  8. For a bit of change, do you think there may be any info on more terminator shoulder pads? It's something that shouldn't take too long to design, and would be nice to have them for the rest of the legions

  9. Do you Bunnys think you could find out more about Gunnar Gunnhilt. I'm hoping that Forgeworld makes him.

  12. Oh, one more thing.
Please tell FW that they should release jump pack blisters asap! There are units on my table that needs those things badly. (Reavers, Palatine Blades) and I guess there are other units too that can take them.

  14. As much as I'm looking forward to the Thousand Sons and SPACE WOLF stuff, I can't wait for it to be out of the way so I can start the clock on getting a book featuring Blood Angels and especially Sanguinius rules and model.
