Daemon Primarch Magnus

Howdy Guys and Girls :)

Looks like Magnus was spotted - but in his daemon form! Thanks @ Wraithwing from B&C (http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326684-magnus-the-red/?p=4526034)

Prospero burned .... and from the ashes he rised like a phoenix - but not whole - he shattered. Now he will get his revenge ... Terra awaits.

- Apocryphes of Atios Hestas, Librarian of the Thousand Sons Legion, prior to the Siege of Terra

I really can't wait to get my hands on this awesome model - he was there during the Siege of Terra after all ;)

What do you think about the first Daemon Primarch? Which one do you want to see next? Write us in the comments below!

Regards,
Lady Atia

  1. Not necessarily a Daemon, but I want to see the fallen Horus, on the Barge fighting the Emperor. Totally understand if they never do the Emperor as he should remain mysterious, but I want the mad bad Horus...

    1. Would love to buy a terrain piece by Blake Spence with the duel of the two. I have mentioned it a few times. We must see that board one day.

    2. Yeah!

Well, FW has said they would do both (Chaos Horus and Big E) so we can hope. It would make sense to make them able to be build as diorama :)

Although the Siege is probably still a few years out :|

  2. Model wise, I love the look of it; I'm worried about the rules for this beast due to the fact that it seems to be coming from GW. In my opinion, they haven't had a great track record recently of balanced rules

    1. Well - it's a feaking Daemon Primarch. I wouldn't use him in every game, so "good rules" wouldn't be that bad - the game would be centered around Magnus, just for the fun of bringing him down :P (similiar to a Titan)

    2. I can understand that, and would have no problem with it. I unfortunately just play with a group that's a bit more brutal rather than fluffy most the time lol I can't wait to see you guys do some more battle reports; your games all look fun and a battle centered around daemon Magnus, especially with Russ also on the field would be amazing

    3. Battle Honey Badgers, our next blog lol. For the more "I hate you and want to punch you repeatedly in the face" 30k fan.

  3. Sweet God Emperor... So the rumours were true. This is simply the most formidable thing since the starting of the Heresy by FW, now I can trully hope GW will release Angron in his daemonic form.... <3 Thanks for the news ! :^D

  4. So does this mean FW won't do a regular Magnus? Will the Russ v.s. Magnus be Resin v.s. Plastic? To the death? 😮

    1. I am 100% certain you will see a pre-deamon Magnus from FW.

    2. Yeah. Real question is what will get released first - 30k Magnus or Freki and Geri :p

  5. This may sound like a stupid question, but was Magnus a daemon Primarch by the time of the Siege of Terra, or had he started transforming into one?

    1. And why is that? I mean I'm as die hard a FW fan as can be, but c'mon..

If it's a good sculpt, accurate to the fluff in looks etc. (Which thus far it very much seems to be.) I'm all for getting Demon Primarchs from GW/Citadel. Let's FW focus on the Rest of the 30k line and IA books.

    2. I would say ...

      - there are guys, who love the stuff from GW and don't care for the more detailed but also high price FW stuff.
      - there are a lot of guys, who love stuff from GW and FW and don't mind buying both.
      - there are guys (like myself), who love the stuff from FW and don't care for the regular GW stuff.

I can understand his opinion. To me the difference between GW and FW is huge. But not to others ...
Ehh .... you know what i mean ...

  9. Next Daemon Primarch? Fulgrim, easily. Slaanesh needs attention now that Tzeentch is finally getting love, and the giant snake tailed 4 armed primarch is quite distinctive while easy to do as a model.

First loyalist primarch? How about Dorn, with a bionic hand (lost long ago and recovered by the Fists) painted red.
