Let's see what we have done this week.
Hector has been bringing order to chaos, gathering parts ahead of his World Eaters project. Forge World order should be arriving some time next week with the remaining upgrades he requires. Next week he will have pictures of assembled units for you all to see!
Darien has nearly completed his first 360 points of the year! He has been working on his Sylvaneth Kurnoth Hunters and should have them done in the next couple of days.
Atia did some more work on the Skavenblight Scramblers this week - the last 5 Gal Vorbaks got also some silver primer. Thanks to warpstorm-problems - no pictures for now 😞
Drake, Kaelo, Aveinus, Ikthelion and Castiel have been busy with life so no progress sadly.
I've actually managed to put paint onto 30 tactical marines, 7 Firedrakes and a contemptor and get them to a level I'm happy with (basic but acceptable) and undercoated 5 pyroclasts, Vulkan, Cassian Dracos, a centurion and my converted Numeon!
ReplyDeleteAlso built another contemptor and a 5 man tactical support squad with flamers.
Fairly happy with all that for a weekend work!
Vulkan Lives! :)
DeleteYes he does! Just another 40 marines, and 3 five man support squads to go!
DeleteNice progress! I finished building my triumvirate of the imperium today and boy they are magnificent! I started my seige breaker counsel which is based off of the B@C terminator commander model.
ReplyDeleteI also painted 20 possessed marines for my upcoming fall of Cadia campaign I'm going to be running with my gaming group.
I finished one Acastus Knight, and now want to retire for the rest of the month. Haha, massive knight and a massive job!
ReplyDeleteIt's a hard time of the year to get stuff done though, keen to see you guys kick off with Inferno!
Haha! It is a beautiful painted knight though, awesome work!
DeleteThanks DV mate, keen to see what you're gonna cook up this year, you smashed it last year!
DeleteIt was a good year, hoping to top it this year!! What have you got planned for the year? More SoH?
DeleteI've sold them on mate, I felt like my painting evolved enough to warrant a fresh start.
DeleteI've got a few sets of Prospero coming for a DG foot slogger force and I want to back them up with knights to match the new big one. Otherwise more terrain, blood bowl and some necromunda/inquisimunda stuff! Big year ahead too.
Thanks for asking dude, looking forward to your next update.
Love those Kurnoth Hunters, best AOS release so far in my heavily biased old school Wood Elf opinion 😭.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually going to be picking some up soon to use as Daemon Princes in 40k in Sylvaneth/Daemon crossover army I want to do for a friend (and myself!). Durthu will be the Keeper of Secrets and Dryads Daemonettes.
Thanks very much! Kurnoth Hunters are the reason I have a AoS army!! Love the models!
DeleteThat sounds like an interesting project!! I would be keen to see the results!
Just got a bag of 150 32mm bases in the mail the other day. with the 100 I already had, finally time to rebase the world eaters. Can't believe 25mm looks so small now
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy what a difference the base makes to how big the models appear! I can't imagine a marine on a 25mm base any more, they look squashed!
DeleteMy copy of the old edition of space hulk still has terminators on 25, now they look so small
DeleteThose Kurnoth Hunters look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI've be busy snipping and filing and sorting 2 boxes of Prospero Burns MKIII.... all organized into legs, arms, torso, heads and a big pile of wolf bits from 40k. Awaiting for Inferno! The base of my force; 4 15man packs.
Still awaiting on Russ and pups until a little bit more VFsriff gets released.
Thank you!
DeleteI've got that same job coming up with the BaC marines!
