Forge World Release: Griff Oberwald and Rat Ogre.

Blood Bowl fans rejoice.
Releases are coming regularly and to such a high standard, that I consider us blessed by Forge World taking over the Specialist Games Range.

Rat Ogre: I am a fan of this model as it really follows the aesthetics of the plastic team, and to be honest I had to check if the model was a plastic kit like the Human Ogre.
I am running Skaven (in Legio Mortis colours) for our upcoming Blood Bowl league, and I might have enough time to get this brute ready before the start of season.

Regarding the pose, he is meant to be sculpted like his chasing a rat scurrying ahead of him.

Griff: Another very dynamic poses model which would lend itself to a diorama really well (Golden Daemon Category anyone?). The kit comes with two great head sculpts (I'm a fan of the helmet especially), and a fantastically detailed shoulder pad of bling.

  1. Griffin is great and I'd to get hold of the bare head to use on a marine but the rat ogre is overaly styalised for my tastes.

  2. Griff kind of reminds me of a 2000ad street judge
