This has in on my painting desk for a while and you may have seen various updates across recent weeks. I am pleased to be able to say that I have now finished my Gargantuan Squiggoth!! I can't wait to get it on the tabletop and smash some Astartes.
It was great fun to paint, though it was difficult at times due to size and weight. I airbrushed the greens and painted the rest in by hand. I am really pleased with how it has finished up! I would love to get a couple of the smaller Squiggoths to run along the table next to him some day!
Happy Hobby!

Doesn't he look awesome!!! What's his name?
ReplyDeleteThanks!! :D haven't decided on a name yet, once he has been out and squashed some stuff it might come to me!
DeleteThis model is so cool and I really like the colour scheme. Surprised how few of these you see around. It needs way more orks on top though!
ReplyDeleteThanks John! It is a really cool model! I realised with posting that I hadn't put any orks on top! I think it's rules have always been a little sub par for the size and cost of the model, so I guess that might be part of the reason you don't see many.
DeleteI'm sure that will change with 8th edition. I bet it's tough as nails now.
DeleteThe rules look better now! Going to get him on the table in the next couple of weeks!
DeleteAhh, Colin the Sqiuggoth.... beautiful work!
