Nightvault edition 2 review

Hi all

Here is a quick look at and our initial impressions of the new Shadespire, Nightvault that games workshop were kind enough to send us.

New boards.

Great standalone boards, and also perfect to add to the existing boards.

All the new tokens

The 2 new warbands.

The Thorns of the Briar Queen

Stormsire’s Cursebreakers.

Games Workshop have continued with making top quality models for Shadespire, each packed with their own character, and very easy to build. The exciting thing for me is the options to use these in bigger battles, and also in skirmish.

A sample of the new Shadespire novel, The Mirrored City.

Last but not least, the rulebook.

This new edition comes with the introduction of Magic. This adds an exciting new dimension for the game, and they do not look overpowered.

There is a fantastic new video from Warhammer TV which really goes into the basics of the game https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Kqe6pcxQPFY

In conclusion, I think this is a really good box to get. Great value for money, and will be perfect for new and existing players. I am excited to see how the new magic will effect the meta of the game.
