Necromunda Zone Mortalis - Delta Anabathrum Complex

Howdy Guys and Girls :)

Just want to share my progress on my Necromunda Zone Mortalis board with you. I recently finished the first tile - the Delta Anabathrum Complex. The idea is to re-create the 2D Necromunda tiles in 3D.

The duct in the middle (it's a loooong way down there) got cut out with a working tool (don't really know what it is, but it's best described as literal vibro blade). The bridge is made from plastic-card aswell as a Necromunda barricade.

Work on some more tiles has already started - here is a little teaser:

Last but not least, I fixed the GW plastic doors with cutting, and experimented with 3D ductways using magnets (rulewise you set them up and gangers can walk and shoot through it):

Hope you like, and stay tuned for more Zone Mortalis progress over the next weeks :)

Regards,
Lady Atia

  1. That looks amazing. I'll bet it ends up adding so much more...feel, maybe? to the Game. The tiles in the Necromunda box are cool, but this is so much better.

I think the tool you used is just called an electric knife. I know those are similar to what you describe, but it could be something different.

    1. Thanks buddy :)

And maybe - it's a tool with different optional heads, so you can do different stuff with it. The head I use is basically a vibro blade haha, and it makes working with the tiles so much easier than a cutting disk.

    2. Oh, that sounds more like some variant or spinoff of a Dremel. Sounds handy, regardless.

  3. Must say that idea for the ductways is inspired! Never thouht of using magnets, and I guess they don't need to be particularly small scale either!
    Nice work!
