Battletome review: Idoneth Deepkin

Hello everyone today we have a look at Warhammer age of Sigmar Battletomes Idoneth Deepkin. The Idoneth Deepkin book is 96 pages long and has all of the information you could possibly want to add character to the forces of the deep.

The Idoneth Deepkin are merciless reavers as cold and cruel as the abyssal deaths from which they call home. They search for from the waves are on a tight of ocean magic, striking out across the line is not in search of slaughter of plunder but for the victim’s very souls.

As one of the age of Sigmar game systems newest armies, they also one of the best model ranges aesthetically, with every kit (including the crab) looking absolutely polished and fantastic.

The book gives you all the information about the prime enclaves of the Idoneth Deepkin, as well as information about the Eidolons of Mathlann (collective manifestations of ancestral souls), and giving you the opportunity for a path to glory like other age of Sigmar Battletomes.

My favourite quest is the Shelled Colossus (then give it the Mount trait: Denizen of the deep, which reduces the wound rolls for the low damage weapons trying to harm it).

One of the Veteran abilities (Summoners of the Gloomtide) enables you to set up a Gloomtide shipwreck terrain feature within 12” of this unit.

Great book. Good reading too!
