First up are the contemptors, these beautifle kits quickly became my favourite models I've ever painted.
This is the second of three contemptors that are currently underway, the third one is currently missing an arm so there's no pics of that one yet. But rest assured there will be more to come for these beauty's.
Last but not least is this monster.
This is knight number one for me and will be painted as a free blade with my own family crest ( I'm a smith so it's all very original )
I have the iron fathers working to restore these colossi to their former glory and I will vox you all when they are done.
These are fantastic! Did you assemble the contemptors, or did you purchase them already assembled? I noticed that their assault cannon looked to have individual barrels, as was wondering how difficult it was to put together!
ReplyDeleteHi Greg, I hope you dont mind me answering this. I have a Kheres touting Contemptor and I will never again attempt to make one. It is the most arduous and annoying task I have ever failed in modelling. Drake ended up making mine and the one above lol. He has the patience of an Alpha Legion Reconnaissance marine and he was spitting bullets lol...great weapon though and it looks cool :)
DeleteKhall, thank you so much for responding! I thought it looked pretty bad and you just confirmed that.
DeleteI recently finished assembling megadread and it was extremely trying and difficult. I ended up using 12 magnets and at least 14 pins to get it to stay together.
I think I'm sticking to their new tanks from now on! Have a good one!
Looks great!!! I hope they come in use when killing those heretics ;)
ReplyDeleteDamn Contemptors and their killing ways. . . .
DeleteSelf healing contemptors and their killing ways.... Mwa ha ha ha
