Horus Heresy Book 3 Extermination release date.

Unless you were one of Those lucky enough people to get a copy of Extermination at the Forge World Openday, we now know that Extermination can pre-ordered now for dispatch on the 1st of May. The Collectors edition ismexceptional, and I urge all out there to get this if you have the other 2 Books.

As always the Battle Bunnies are never satisfied. We want to know what book is next, and unfortunately we have no idea. It was meant to be Inferno, but it apparently could be any of them. There will be a lot of new models and unit types on Prospero (Custodes, Sisters and Army), so maybe it would make sense to put this book back a touch to allow them to drip feed it to us in a Calth book before Prospero. Apparently there will be some incredible surprises at the Horus Heresy Weekender, so I fully expect FW to have more aces up their sleeves.

    1. Hi Mike. No information on this yet. It probably is one of those "if we release this huge 6th ed rulebook first at £40 we can release the thin one later and know our Hobbyists will get both" thing.

  2. I heard they won't be releasing the art book separately? In any event I can't afford the limited edition but will pick up Book 3, and I'm not even using a legion from it. A testament to how good FW is these days.

    1. It is a little sleeved book containing snippets of the Horus Heresy artwork from the Trilogy. It is not something I would have bought the trilogy for though :) the other 2 books are amazing though. The Bunnies can go to Warhammer World with these great codex sized army list books instead of reserving a seat in the car for a Trilogy! Lol

  3. Oh cool, thanks for that. Doesn't sound like I'm missing out too much.

I only play at home with my brothers, so fortunately not having the list doesn't impact too much, but I did see that and think it would be handy not to have haul out all three tomes each game lol!

  4. The Collectors Edition is sold out now, went away pretty fast. It would be nice if such a list collection would be a permanent offering, would make life a lot easier. I would not want to carry around this massive, heavy and expensive books around all the time.

    1. Forge World will be releasing those books individually. Was flipping through the pages of both the Isstvan Legions and Crusade Army List and it really dawned on me how useful they are. Nice and light and look exceptional.

  5. Thats good to hear, so the only exclusives are the artbook and the bookcase, things I will be able to live without.
