So happy! Another Ruin done!!!
The internal wall was airbrushed with 50% Tamiya Medium Grey and 50% Tamiya flat earth.
The outside wall was the same mix but with Karak Stone added by about 40%
The metal work was Sycorax bronze.
I then went to town with white spirits and burnt umber oil paint to add streaking.
Back to my Iron Warriors!
Tune in tomorrow to see our complete Forge World Cityscape.

Damn they look good! And you painted it that fast, that's impressive. If I had place in my flat I would definitely get some
ReplyDeleteDecent models need a loved board :)
DeleteYour tank is so beautiful. The ruin is nice too :).
ReplyDeleteCheers mate. I might enter it in a painting comp at the HH Weekender. That or the Fellblade. Never entered a painting competition before. Always a bit unsure about them.
DeleteGo for it. Whether you place or not, you'll probably meet some new fellows, who might have tips and tricks to share, and possibly make some new friends. I've never entered a competition before, but I hear that everyone is usually very friendly and kind. Has a lot to do with the fact this style of painting is a genre inside of a genre kinda :).
DeleteIs that really all you did? Just base colours, and oil washes? Because they really look great!
