Forge World Bulletin 8: Legion vs Mechanicum and a Navigator.

2 awesome pics from Forge World on the Bulletin this week.

First we have the Horus Heresy Navigator ltd edition mini. It can be used in both 40k and Heresy so not in my opinion a full Heresy model that I would have liked, but throne it is exceptional!!! The detailing and the unveiled eye! Wow. You can just imagine the elaborate highlighting people will try to achieve with this mini.

Secondly:

Legion vs Mechanicum hey? Which Legion fought a Mechanicum force (keeping away from the obvious Battle of Paramar which they have done a board for already) in their first true Horus Heresy Novel where they get involved with the Galactic civil war that was unfolding and pre-emptively attack a Forge World? Hmm. . . A board being made to feature a new "book 4 Conquest" Conflict maybe?
I'm sorry I'm all in now. Book 4 Conquest will feature Dark Angels in my opinion. It's a good point to get Mechanicum to full strength and for Dark Angels to enter the fray. And what a perfect starting point for them too. It would be a very logical move for Sir Alan of Bligh and Mr Cottrell.

I say we are going to Diamat.

    1. True true. I was wondering if Alpharius was to lead this force that Mat Kane had painted. Maybe he is the next Primarch? Otherwise it could cover the Deliverence book instead / as well as.

  3. First off, I hate that the Sign out button is right where the send button on most websites happens to be. Second, I think it might be the Battle of Mars where Sigismund and Camba Diaz led the Imperial Fists in an effort to quell the rebellion or, failing that, retrieve as much as they were able to.

    1. Lol. Standard Blogger setup.

We could be visiting the red planet as a secondary mission in the book too.
It at this stage should include Diamat (gets a Legion done) and either Deliverence (May be too soon but covers a second visit for Alpha Legion and Raven Guard) or the Raid by Sigismund on Mars (Imperial Fists revisit).

They do only need to do 2 new Legions in this book to get the remaining 4 done before the end of the Trilogy.
