1st Legion update. Dark angels plasma cannon squad.

Hi everyone

Here is the 3rd update on the completed squads of my Dark Angels a 5 man plasma cannon unit. When it comes to Dark Angels support this is the obvious choice considering the 1st Legions love of plasma weaponry. I used a mixture of mk2, mk3 and mk4 armour as I like a bit of variety.

As with all my progress so far this unit was part of the legion in a day project. Which was then finished in preparation for the bunnies Christmas get together and was another last minute rush to get them done in time. When the day of the Christmas get together came around I was looking forward to the devastation they would cause. So when they all died first turn without firing a shot I was somewhat dismayed but had to admire Mortarions first turn charge across the battle field to slay the whole squad in one foul swoop it was entertaining.

I can't wait for the next opportunity to use them in anger and hopefully get a shot of at the very least. My use of plasma weaponry will continue as I have a tactical support squad on the way and with exciting the news that they are working on Dark Angels legion specific plasma weaponry I will be eagerly waiting to add some to my Dark Angels.

  1. Paul Rudge did do a really brazen move by the sound of it!
Love the Plasma Cannon squad. They definitely are the bane of Legions in battles, in my opinion any way.

    1. He had a Spartan that moved 6", he hopped out 6", did his 10" redeploy move and then charged 8"! It was awesome!
