Kaelo Rylanus - Project Re-evaluation

Hello bunnies and lovers of all things fluffy!

Tonight I am giving a quick update to you for my projects. Unfortunately due to complications after a recent knee operation (old Blood Bowl injury), I haven't been able to keep up to date with my project timelines. For that I am really sorry. The other Battle Bunnies have banded together and taken the slack as both myself and Drake have taken brief interludes from blogging. Although I haven't been contributing on the blog, my love for the hobby hasn't faded at all. In fact, it has given me time to focus, think and then rethink (and read Pharos lol). As such, I have changed my project list one last time.

So, after careful deliberation and discussions with Drake and some of the other BBs, here is my final project list for this year, after the Ultramarines I will evaluate which is next:

Ultramarines
I am going to complete a large chunk of my infantry force and the block paint all my vehicles for consistency. I am still aiming to get this done by the end of March. Stay tuned on Saturday night for a fairly solid update.

Legio Praesagius Skitarii Cohort
I like the idea of doing these guys with some dark blue, mottled cloaks to go alongside:

Legio Praesagius Titan
What more is there to say? I love the fluff for Legio Praesagius. One day I may add more titans in, but with Epic all but confirmed I may just to one engine here and one for Tempestus. I dont think I will ever go above a Reaver though.

House Vornherr Knights
Already assembled the majority of these, shouldn't really take too long once transfers are released. Pretty much sidelined until then.

Eldar Corsairs
We need some more Xenos for blog campaigns and I am utterly in love with Corsairs. I am just praying for new Guardian models before I start lol.

Knight Errants
If any Knight Errants are released for characters from my legions then I will drop everything to complete them.

If I can find time to complete Salamanders, Raven Guard, Sons of Horus and Eldar Ghost Warriors then I will lol

Sorry to have changed my project list again. Stay tuned on Saturday for the first in a long line of solid updates.

Kaelo

  2. I would love to see some Eldar Corsairs, something a little new. Craftworld Eldar have left a bad taste in my mouth.

    1. I think it depends who plays with them. The authors here are encouraged and tasked with avoiding lists or combinations which are cheesy. Where possible we will actually change rules to make models less powerful. The objective of the game should always be; try to make your opponent have fun.

When we do a Craftworld there will be no cheese.

    2. Yeah I agree Tim, it's about striking a nice balance I think. Can't wait to the ultras and Corsairs to start coming together!

  4. Kaelo, things happen I would not beat yourself up about it. It's great to see your progress (more than mine in any case) and a few weeks at a slower pace now is better than having something more serious later on. All the best continuing to recover.

    1. Cheers Agrippa, I really appreciate it. Sooner or later though I will come good with my promises. :)

  5. Shame your choosing a weak and feeble legio before maning up with Tempestus. Btw, I found another blog 'TwoTitans' that has a cool tempestus reaver build ongoing.

    1. Praesagius are the mutts nuts!! I love the fluff for them. Taking the harder path in securing victory so they could preserve humanity, even if it meant sacrificing themselves. The very definition of heroic in my book :) plus, they are linked with Tempestus iirc.

Ooooo I shall have to check it out...ta for the information.
