Legion Mastodon

Legion Mastodon is available on Horus Heresy Weekender 2016

Edited.

This is a model that I am a very big fan of.

The tracks and design is deliciously different yet familiar as a Legion vehicle.

It has 2 Void shields and multiple weapons and options. The Magna melta is a souped up version of the Cerastus Assault Rams Weapon.

Ithe top weapons is a rotor cannon of sorts, it also has two Lascannons and 2 Heavy Flamers.

It has an assault ramp at back . . .

And front. . .

It can transport 40 Legionnaires, in multiple squads as it is a super heavy.

A great super Heavy with double figure hit points. A must for Iron Warriors and Imperial Fist gamers.

    4. Hi Bradley. Unfortunately (and disappointingly) FW have not given the new recipe in the Masterclass book nor a guide on how to paint a SoH mini. They do pretty much list the mixtures Mat Kane used but not accurate with quantaties, AND THEN in italics underneath say: "Since these models were painted, Forge World has released an Airbrush range of paints. The range includes 3 paints (Nocturne green, Lupercal green and Sons of Horus Green) specifically created to aid in the painting of a Sons of Horus Legion force."
      Really disappointed in this comment.

We are going to be trying to get info regarding how the Mastodon was painted, and will be giving the guide up here on the blog.

  3. That looks like a serious bit of transport hardware.
I wonder if I could fit one in my AL somewhere, it is really cool.

    3. Nice! I was hoping it could take 50 but that would be too similar to the Stormbird I guess!
