And last but not least - the FW new models seminar :)
Legion specific pads
Mechanicum Domitar Automata
Contains updated rules and Legion Traits.
New Heavies designed by Rob. Essentially alternative Heavy Weapons and compatible with all armour Marks. Backpack is Weapon specific not armour specific.
Dice Sets! Pretty cool :)
Wanted to add a victim (hence why not released yet). Lol. Ironically is a dental division / gynaecologists.
Sokar pattern Stormbird weighs 5 kilos!
The new Robots will be not just bodyguard for Perturabo, but can be used to "watch" junior commanders. Elite choice! They are based on the Domitar.
Might not get weapon variants for Iron Circle. Circa £30 per model.
No name for the drone yet, but it's an automata
And a grumpy Knight! Awesome!
End of the seminar for today. We will see more tomorrow (and we might even see some Skitarii)! What do you think so far about the upcoming stuff? Write us in the comments below!
Regards,
Drake Seta, Lady Atia and the other Bunnies!
Finally some shotguns that do not require the purchase of a whole recon squad.
ReplyDeletePlease be a primach today
ReplyDeleteProbably not untill tomorrow, and the panel for the next book.
DeleteExpecting to see Russ previewed at end of day tomorrow.
DeleteAny news on the brass etchings for the iron warriors? Or pictures of the terminator shoulder pads?
ReplyDeleteShoulder pads and brass etchings are semi-imminent.
DeleteReally?! How exciting! I was bummed out that they didn't come out in January to use the free shipping code I wasted :(
DeleteAre in the red book also the new RoW from bok six?
ReplyDeleteMight we see the a WIP from cortus contemptor yet?
ReplyDeleteBTW, the threads in the medicae set could almost pass as an epic-sized sicaran, maybe it's an easter egg? :D
Any news on when to expect the Ursurax to be released? Just about to start Mech 30K and I think I needs them! :D
ReplyDeleteWell they aren't too far off now as they have been previewed. Wouldn't think you would be waiting too much longer now. Probably a month and a half.
DeleteLove the Iron Circle models. angel exterminatus is a book I really enjoyed and some of my favorite scenes involved Purturabo and his Iron Circle wrecking havoc...this sums up what I imagine they would look like: Massive, armed and shielded and imposing.
ReplyDeleteYup. They have to be Very Bulky rules-wise.
DeleteThat Means Perty can go with 5 in a Storm Eagle (hopefully).
Compared to previous years, this is a fairly pooor showing from FW
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. Everything is great, just not must sell kidneys and I'm dying for it to come out great.
DeleteGot a feeling there's some more tomorrow.
DeleteHopefully a Primarch or two.
Don't forget that the true star of this weekend is tomorrow - the Inferno seminar :)
DeleteWe also had the birthday event as well last month. If we didnt have that then we might have had Corax and Dark Furies this weekend if it planned out different?
DeletePoint taken. Maybe I'm just having trouble finding a user for most of what's being shown. After reading rules for the mastadon, I think I'm going to pass on it. But now, do I get the sokar?I already have a thunderhawk.....
DeleteDamn that Knight looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteThose Domitar and Ursurax will be good additions!!! Nice!!! Really hope there will be more to preview! I would really like to see upgrade sets for Space Wolves (I know I'm optimistic)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the coverage Battle Bunnies!! Wish I could make it, it's hard when you are out in Western Canada.... One day
DeleteNo problems Zak. You are welcome any time :)
Delete'What do you think so far about the upcoming stuff?'
ReplyDelete---FANTASTIC----- ;)
Personally I'm a blood angel collector - but as long as Forgeworld keep up the quality of their books and models, I don't mind how long I have to wait. The quality is what matters and if Forgeworld and Black Library can continue to keep such a high standard of models and Fluff its all 30k/40k heaven to me - besides I love converting - so the more they make the more 'source' parts I have to pick from.
Nothing here excited me at all, hope tomorrow will be better :) but thx guys!
ReplyDeleteAny pricetag info on bird or mastodon?
ReplyDeleteIf a warlord weighs 7.5kg and costs £1200, a 5kg storm bird will cost....
DeleteProbably as much as a fully armed reaver titan
DeleteI was rather disapointed by the Stormbird, but the Mechanicum saves the day! the Domitar and the Porphyrion are a good surprise, I love them.
ReplyDeleteI'm still debating on the mastadon. I like the model, but the rules I've seen are kind of meh.
ReplyDeleteDid we get an actual price tag on it at all?
Around £300. Still up in the air though.
DeleteToo much awesome, as usual FW knock it out of the park big style. Can't wait for tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteThe new knight reminds me of the Epic Warden Knight, and actually it doesn't look bad, I was wondering how could they bring it back without looking too goofy.
ReplyDeleteAnd I must admit that the Mechanicum is starting to grow on me, the thallax and castellax didn't catch much of my attention when they were released, but both the domitar (the 2 versions) and the ursarax look awesome to me , and if skitarii are finally introduced in 30k it would be really tempting (although I have barely started assembling my IF army, and I don't want to start a new one yet).
I spoke to Rob Macfarlane about this, they have refined the heads somewhat to make them more machine like. It basically turned into a conversation about how scary they are having no facial features, and all your casualties will be reflected in the domes...
DeleteThat is cool.. but i do hope they'll do a cracked screen version at some point to show the wired up skull underneath. A lot of people have converted one and it looks good. I was thinking it'd make a good event-only figure.. but not till they start events up gain in Australia so i won't miss out!
DeleteThanks for all the nice job you do!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat coverage, cheers bunnies
ReplyDeleteIt was great hanging out with the bunnies today, I will be coming again tomorrow. Thanks for saving the seat!!
ReplyDeleteTony (aka the FW boss) said The warlord fully laden is 7.5kg to give an idea of cost. I prefer it to he thunder hawk, but it's not like it's described in the full. I was told both this and masterdon are getting 40k rules.
I have to say, the biggest, most requested item of the show was the shipping crates on the demo board and in the tempest book in the q&a. They are awesome, problem being they will cos the same as a resin tank.
I'm looking forward to fabulous serpent fulgrims clown car the most. Alan Bligh said it, so it must be true!
Lol. Which releases a never ending supply of Legionnaires from its boot! Yup brilliant.
DeleteWas happy to save a seat for you. Catch u tomorrow.
I want to hear more about the Death Guard. I've seen the new RoW, and Mortarion's new rules I'd like see in more detail - the new rules for Silence...
ReplyDeleteI should say I've already seen Silence rules...
DeleteTop of my head, it is no longer unwieldy and it only -1 initiative.
DeleteURSURAX!! YES!! I also like the new Knight, wonder what size it is, cerastus or questoris? Or something new sized all together. Hail the Omnisiah! All the models and books look amazing tomorrow is going to be great. Any news on tartaros legion shoulder pads? Thanx Battle Bunnies.. Your devotion to this hobby is greatly appreciated by all of us!
ReplyDeleteIt is Acastus. A new chassis. No news on Tartaros shoulder pads, but can't imagine them not doing them in the long run.
DeleteThe body of the knight is very similar to the Cerastus pattern, and it seems that the legs are close to the questoris knight's ones, so size (and hopefully price, though I'm afraid it won't be far from a cerastus) should be a intermediate between the two
DeleteHave a good day tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your pictures today, it's always exciting to have such a good source to see what's coming up from forgeworld.
Thanks for the load of updates yesterday. Did not have any time to go through them live, but it has been great to catch up this morning.
ReplyDeleteThe Acastus Knight Porphyrion is the first knight that really grabs me, will have to get one of those.
Thanks for all the nice job you do!!!
ReplyDeleteNo problems at all Carlo. You are very welcome.
DeleteI don't suppose there was any mention of 40K rules for the Leviathan melta lance?
ReplyDeleteLet's hope we see some of these on the webstore this week and month.
