Belisarius Cawl

Howdy Guys and Girls :)

Just want to share an upcoming GW plastic character - well, look for yourself ...

Belisarius Cawl. New AdMec Character. He is 10k years old! He had a mysterious mission ...

Can't wait to get that guy for my 30k Mars Mechanicum army ..... :)

Regards,
Lady Atia

  1. Omnissiah be praised this is awesome. But i'm way more excited for the archmagos dominus. Got anything more about that other than carnifex size? =D

  2. I wonder how big he is, it doesn't look like a normal base that has been used for AdMec so far. Kudos to anyone who paints these. The amount of detail is just staggering.

  3. I would like something that is different compared to the current plastic techpriest dominus. This looks more like the old one got longer.

  4. By all the Binaric Apostles.... Surprised they still have some face and arm flesh.

  5. I know he's big, but I still want to see some pics that give a proper sense of scale. Him towering over a regular Dominus or something.

    1. He's stood next to a female inq in the last pick, looks at least twice the height of a human.

  6. It's a stunning model! I'm really loving the minis that GW is producing. Great time for the hobby..... but so much awesomeness... so little time and money!

  7. In the Skitarii audio drama, they mention the Magos Dominus was bigger than a Dreadnought.

I might have to convert it into the Archimandrite from Master of Mankind.

  8. Fantastic mini. I do worry GW are going for a hard reboot of 40k with this new 13th crusade campaign, but I suspect they'll learn their lesson from AoS and make it a more nuanced soft reboot.

I'm SLIGHTLY annoyed that GW have named their character "Cawl" when I'd created my own 30 & 40k Rogue Trader dynasty called the House of Caul, but there you go...

  10. I like this dude. I've been working on something kind of similar using the fantasy wraith model and my bits box. Definitely will try to pick this guy up as I work on my 30/40k Mechanicum/cus.

    1. "my 30/40k Mechanicum/cus."

That's the approach I'm taking too. The next Imperial Armour book will make things so much easier. My Thanatar in 40K for a start... ..praise the Omnissiah. ....and magnets. ;)

  11. I may have to paint his robes black and use him as Kelbor Hal
