Freki and Geri Unboxing

Hi all. Another £70 down making Leman Russ' coeterie one hell of a expensive set. 
But Trish has outdone herself. Some great Wolves lay on the slab before me. 


Scenic base fans rejoice! There are two showing the Thousand Sons brought to heel. 


Wolf 1 and Wolf 2. No "Freki" or "Geri". Make up your own mind. 


The Torsos are huge. Big enough to be ferocious killing machines, not sure how they would compare to thunder wolf cavalry though. 

And the assembly guide.

    They look amazing, and the base, a TSons dreadnought on the dam thing. I'll have to pick these up soon.

      Indeed! Although the base might be quite hard to paint if you do Thousand Sons with an airbrush. Will have to mask it very well for them ^.^

      By the time you're done painting the bases you may as well start a Thousand Sons army with the practise you'll have had. Cunning Forgeworld, cunning.

    I want to get them for 40k too and use them as Wolf Lords on Thunderwolves leading Ferisian Wolf packs but without any riders.

      There are actual Astartes in my army too lol. I own no Thunderwolves though and think it would be fun to have each of my wolf packs led by a big Alpha.

      I think riderless wolves are a far better idea, both aesthetically and it's more 'believeable'. Fits with the original space marine leman Russ fluff too.

    Wow they are HUGE!! CANT WAIT TO GET MINE AND RUSS!

    I was wondering if there was a scheduled release for th Khornate Dragon or if they are still working on him.
