Finished one of the 2 new plastic models being released by Games Workshop for the Horus Heresy range.
As you may have seen, I have started taking tentative steps towards going full Grim Dark.
I sprayed black underneath then Corax white from above. Little bit of white drybrushing. Then a few passes with Avaland Sunsetspray.
Then 2 parts brown mix (1:1 mix of Seraphim Sepia with Lahmian), with 1 part Casandora yellow. This is washed all over.
I then paint trims and Matt Varnish.
After all that I cover the armour in AK interactive streaking grime (I used internals colour), then get it off with cotton wool buds and odourless white spirits until I’m happy.
