Tau KX-139 Ta'unar

Was a great looking Tau suit on display by the awesomely talented Will Hayes today.

Is absolutely huge (Cerastus size but stockier).

Looks fantastic.

  2. I'm just excited to see a new model that isn't heresy. Means they are still working on the other lines!

    1. I agree completely, especially since SM (and a bit CSM and a some daemons too) gets a lot of love as some 30k models get 40k rules.
That said I do understand why FW keep a dominating focus on 30k. The small group I play 40k with have a strong majority of anti-FW players. I know that it's not all 40k groups that are like that, but I can imagine that a lot are, which does in some ways limit the FW lovers in those groups. In 30k it wouldn't make sense to ban FW, so they are ensured that the target audience is not prevented from buying the models due to peer pressure.

    2. I concur with you. I love the heresy models...I just miss when they were making stuff for the Xenos. I want some new ork stuff :)

    3. Now that they are doing both this titan-sized Tau and the enormous Warlord titan, the Orkeosaurus must be on the way! Right? ;)

  3. Mr Hayes Talent really defines the Tau profile in 40K, this is genuinely great work in my opinion.
Do we have an approximate height of this beast? :D

Thanks for uploading these high quality images !

    1. It's scout titan sized (roughly same as a warhound imo).

This model really blew me away and was probably my fave at.the event. And I don't even collect Tau.

  4. Tau in general, but this model in particular, look like they're taken straight out of Rifts RPG. I don't play Tau, but I'm considering beginning a collection of these just kool looking mech-vehicles
