New Cerastus Knight incoming! Praise the Omnissiah!

I did not expect this! A new Cerastus Knight which was Mechanicum styled. I was loathed to put a Cerastus into my House Raven Knights as they looked too Imperial, but now we have this!

Looks great so far. Hoping for another iteration already.

So we are getting Mechanicum-centric again. Book 6 is going to be great.

Also we see a great Raven Guard Centurion:

Very nicely painted!

    1. If I recall the correct info, doesn't the master also get interred in a Styrix / Magera when mortally wounded?

    2. yep, he got a special Knight Megaera - and was interred like a Space Marine into a Dreadnought^^

    5. That is a great model! Really good painter :) any more for Makabius coming?

I have 3 engines for them to be painted too.
Then doing 1/3 of House Orhlacc with Darko and another Bunny.
Then Kaelo and I are doing around 5 house Raven engines.

    6. thanks^^

unfortunately, no, my Death Guard is more or less finished (ok, i should paint 10 veterans, 10 heavy support marines and a spartan but mahhh) - and i started to paint her after seeing the first Makabius pictures from an HH weekender (back then i think it wasn't even confirmed that they are such DG buddies - but they had some veterans next to them at the display so i figured/hoped^^), as an alternative LoW choice back then^^ (well, now i can use her as an allied detachment alongside Draykavak^^)

But Knights are awesome, can't wait to get an updated HH list for them^^ (and they should make the knight specific detachment bigger imo :p)

    7. Yeah that Questoris Knight list is a work of art in my opinion. They really fluffed out the pilot types. Good thing was also that they didn't change the core points for the Knights, so we don't have a problem with using the new Knight variants in there.

Would be worth asking FW if they are going to FAQ / update / errata the Questoris list post the new Knight Codex. Might drop an email tomorrow.

The Makabius and Death Guard combo is cool too. The painter Paul Rudge also is a huge Death Guard gamer and also painted the Mortis Warlord we see everywhere at the moment. Makes me laugh that some how I am collecting a mirrored force and constantly asking him for advice, look like a right stalker. 8|
      . . . What you doing next Paul . . .

  2. Just ordered myself two of the Centurions - I like the fact that the arms are seperate and can be changed with other squads!! Hello Salamander Centurion with thunder hammer!!

  3. I imagine the Mor Deythan release isn't too far off if they are using those shoulder pads on the Centurion model in the picture.

    2. well, in theory you can use Necrons (early tomb worlds awakaning, we also have hints about them in the HH books from FW), Eldar (Fulgrim), Dark Eldar (several HH books from BL), Eldar Corsairs, Exodite Eldar - if they retcon the lore from the Harlequin Codex, even them - and of course Orks :p

    3. I spoke to Andy Hoare about the Necrons and sadly only early awakening units would be available - Scarabs and Tomb Spiders only really!

The rest is right ofc :)

We have some really cool Xenos plans at the moment and I hope that we can announce more next week :)

I tried to email you earlier Atia at your blog. Can you email me on kaelorylanus@gmail.com please :)

    1. As per my comment above im sure from reading the Forge World bulletin that the arms are separate and therefore can be changed for different arms/weapons and be used with legion specific shoulder pads!
Unless I've got it massively wrong!!

    2. You are correct. I've got the model and the arms and shoulder pads are seperate parts from one another and the body. They are using the stock Centurion model itself but are using the Mor Deythan shoulder pads that we've seen from previous FW events previewing them. That's why I think the Mor Deythan aren't too far from release if they are willing to show those pads off in this picture on a different model type.
