Weekly Progress report 6/11/2016

Another week has passed. Let's see what we have been up to.

This week King Fluff has been prepping parts for his third Reaver Titan to join his Legio Astraman War Maniple 'The Ardent Mace'. He's been modding the carapace for a more unique look so his Titans aren't too similar. He's hoping to arm this one with a Reaver Titan Buzz Saw and a Vortex Missile.

After the imperial loss in the shadow war campaign, Hector has performed a tactical withdrawal back to the sol system and is contributing once more to the fortification of the system. He's primed and based his void shield generator, built a new bastion and has some more fortifications to build!

Atia managed to paint up the Mhara Gal this week. Next on the painting table are the first 10 Renegade Militia Grenadiers and their sinister leader!

Tylar has been prepping his Custodes.

Castiel has been working on his Dark Angel Predator Squadron including trying to nail down what colour chequers represent what in the I Legion.

I have been working on my Leman Russ. I have made a few minor alterations to the pose of the Miniature to personalise him.

Kaelo and Darien are planning their projects for this years' Battle Bunnies 20 days of Xmas.

Also a big thanks and hi to all of those we spoke to yesterday as well as all of you from round the world who stayed with us through the day/event.

Haven't heard too much about breaking news bits on the Sunday but did find this floating about. Any more info on additional previews would be appreciated.

  1. Excellent progress. Your Russ is shaping up to be stunning. Will you be putting up progress of him soon?

King Fluff, looking forward to seeing a buzz saw? Will it be the classic arm from back in the day?

Typical imperial fist, things go wrong and the build sand castles instead of actually doing anything ;)

That dread is stunning! Are the coils air brushed?

I just built my Caladius it's a great little model. I've got a picture next to a Sicaran on my blog, it's scary how well Blake upgraded it. You can really see a common lineage!

    1. Thanks buddy :)

Yep they are - tbh I did a bit too much (on the side) but I'm still happy with frankensteins dread!

    2. Not so much classic but it will certainly have a bid in that direction - it'll be more like a giant version of the castellax power blades when completed.

  2. The Russ looks amazing. A great improvement on the pose. Bahhh stuff like this makes me flip flop between doing SW or fists and I can't come to a conclusion.

    2. I've drawn blood on terrain and models in twenty years of gaming enough times that a real buzz saw on a model actually scares me in real life a little bit.
