Warhammer 40K: Wolfspear Infernus Marines from New Leviathan Box

 Hi all

So we have had a fair few games with the new Leviathan Boxed game and thought we would look at the main core unit from the Space Marines in the box. That's right, the Infernus Squad.

So the only time I have run a pure flamer squad prior to this (apart from Tzeentch) is in Horus Heresy. I have painted them to go with my 40K Wolfspear Space Marine army which I am now working on :)

It is a very strong unit in the game (especially as a Vanguard unit).

Having Flamers (torrent rule in 10th ed) is brilliant, especially for Overwatch. Many opponents will try to bring these chaps down early, mainly because of their high strength. Try to get them forward as quick as you can, but save a CP for an overwatch.

Their S5 Pyreblasters will make a pyre of most enemies, especially the high toughness Tyranids (Especially the assault ones).

To me, 10th edition Core Space Marines start and end with the Infernus Squad.

Thanks To Games Workshop for sending us a review Copy.

Battle Bunnies.
