Weekly Progress Report 20/08/2017

Hi all. 

Back to the hobby grindstone, so let's see what we have been up to. 

Ahmose has had a manic week getting ready for this weekend's Throne of Skulls.  He just managed to get his Diabolist finished two hours before the start.  His efforts were worth it though, finishing with a best army nomination and the Company of Legend award for his Khenetai Blade Occult.

Atia just came back from another week of vacations (well, if you call festivals vacations!). Today was used to finish another Death Guard!



Darien spent the week assembling Palatine blades for his Emperor's Children. He has finished building the 20 of them except for the jump packs which he has yet to purchase!

After managing to stick to a single project for a couple of weeks, Kaelo has gone back to his old ways and started multiple new units. First up is some Primaris Reivers he has started to assemble. After assembling a few of these he came up with the great idea of starting some Kairic Acolytes for Silver Tower and added a couple of colours to his Blue horrors he started last year...



Ikthelion hasn't had much time for hobby recently, but managed to make it to the Horus Heresy Throne of Skulls this weekend with Ahmose. He had a great time and finished in the top 10 overall. He also managed to finish up his Diabolist model for the weekend the night before heading to Warhammer World.

I have been quite busy with Shadow War Armageddon bits this week, and hopefully I will be wrapping up my Titans this week.

    Love the flames on the Blue Horrors. How far have you gotten with the Silver Tower game?

      Scuttlings have been started and are on their way, as are the Pink Horrors and Blue Horrors. I have finished the Brimstone Horrors.

      I used washes on the flames. White base coat, wash with Casandora Yellow. Then a bit higher wash it again and then was it with Carroburg Crimson at the highest level. Really easy.

    Was chatting to Mr Hector on Sunday about the custodians he's planning, so I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on them.

    Myself, this weekend I've been building the Orion Assault Gunship I picked up last weekend. It's going to need a touch of greenstuff where the top and bottom of the fuselage meet near the assault ramp, but it's behaving otherwise 😎
