Daemons of the Ruinstorm: Flamers of Tzeentch

Ladies, Gentlemen and Bunnies. Welcome to another look at my Daemon horde!

Today we have my favourite of all things Tzeentch - Flamers. 

Once more to let you know, I painted my Tzeentch army in a massive riot of clashing colours which do not look natural against each other (to make them feel more warpy). 

The one on the left has gold flames. 

I tried to use various colours like those found on garish sweet wrappers and in candy jars!!

Flesh orange and blue!

My personal favourite is the twisty fella on the right. 

The guy on the right was based on a chocolate I had on the table while I was painting. 

Was a great unit to paint and it's Alpha strike-iness made them a very effective unit a codex and supplement ago. But I am once again not a fan of the new Codex as it feel like such a chore to set up a game.

Daemons of the Ruinstorm: Great Spined Beast

Hi all. 

Today we continue with my Daemons of Tzeentch. This was my favourite model of the lot to paint and it was also my first Forge World big Mini. 

It is a great sculpt. The rules make it as a model which can soak up a bit of damage before succumbing. Especially when you give it a Mart of Tzeentch (well at least in IA2). 

I can't remember which paints I used for the model sadly. 

But it was very fun to paint.

Daemons of the Ruinstorm: Screamers of Tzeentch

Hi all

Here tonight we have more of the delightful servants of the Master of Change. 

As with my Flamers I wanted them to be garish and untasteful. Totally with colours against the natural order. So here they are. A myriad mix of colours, some which clash against each other and some which are tree frog-like. 

I loved using these in the last codex (with White Dwarf update), they were incredible. 

Only a few units to go for my Daemons now.

Daemons of the Ruinstorm: Pink Horrors

Hi all

Sorry it is late. I thought I would share with you my Tzeentch Daemons today. This is my first proper army that I painted after getting back into the Hobby. This week we have Pink Horrors!

As you can see there is a huge horde of them, all with different shades of pink. 

I wanted the colours to be bright and in your face. I also wanted them to feel a bit "eeeeewww those colours look aweful next to each other" to try to capture warp essence.

It was a fun army to paint. 

I also won a best army competition with them at Warhammer World.
