The Horus Heresy Book 2 Massacre preview video

So Alan has done another great teaser trailer for the Horus Heresy Book 2: Massacre. The video can be found on the Forge World visual feed. I have taken some screen shots of it too.

We learn that all four Primarchs will be in the book from the four featured Legions. As well as some new units and Characters. To Summarise:

Night Lords: Konrad Curze, Jago Sevatar, Mawdrym Llansahai.
World Eaters: Khärn, Red Butchers
Iron Hands: Ferrus Manus, Iron Father Autek Mor, Medusan Immortals
Salamanders: Vulkan, (Firedrakes from previous sitings)
Emperor's Children: Karcophoni, Phoenix Guard
Death Guard: tbc
Sons of Horus: Reaver Squad
Word Bearers: Lorgar, Kor Phaeron, Erebus, Circle of Ashes

Legio Mortis and Legio Atarus will also be battling. With the Ordo Cybernetica in support.

Jago Sevatar.
This guy I really can't wait for. One of my favourite characters from the Horus Heresy Series ever since he muttered the words "you - I know you" to the Dark Angels.

From what I can see from his rules he looks like a quite powerful character. The Nostraman Chainglaive giving s+q1 Ap3 gives him a Strength 5 Ap3 Rending and Instant death in a challenge (s6 if his unit outnumbers enemy unit at each initiative step).
Pair this with Precognition blessing every turn (hopefully as ld7) he can reroll all failed to hits, to wound and to save. This sounds bang on as of how he is depicted in Prince of Crows.

The Legion specific rules for the Iron Hands are amazing. All shooting attacks on them at -1 to Strength is absolutely amazing. Wow. Topped with the other traits it makes them sound very unmovable.

Fans of the Heresy novels will not recognise the name of Mor, he appears to be one of FW's own. S5 T5 with a Paragon Blade and the Iron Hands trait to back him up -and 3 wounds! He won't go down easy.

Anyway all. I would recommend buying this book ASAP. I have mine reserved at Gamesday already and cannot wait for it. This will be an amazing read like the last one and it is topped with Jago and Khärn flavoured seasoning.
